Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of the west side of San Antonio. We are directly across from Rosedale park on the West Martin street side. 4748 West Martin street between General McMullen & NW 24th street.

What time is service?

Sunday Prayer @ 8a.m central [dial in only]

Sunday Worship Service @11am central

[online & in person]

Monday Prayer Service @530 am central [dial in only]

Wednesday Life Lesson @ 7pm central [online only]

Where do I park?

Park either in front of or on side of church building. The 1st few spots directly in front of sanctuary are reserved for YOU.

Is there something for my kids?

We begin service at 11am in the sanctuary each Sunday but then we have separate services for children's church inside of our fellowship hall every 2nd & 4th Sunday. all other Sundays we all gather together in the sanctuary for worship. We also host ONLINE children discipleship activities on Wednesdays to keep our young ones growing & connected.

What is a typical service like?

Our services are typically filled with a rich depth of unconditional love, fellowship, biblical learning, discipleship challenges and a whole lot of fun & laughter based upon the relationship we have with The Lord and continue to develop with one another. We believe in worshipful songs, creative arts, biblical teaching with a conversational tone, stewardship, prayer, praise, dance, skits and using every gift & talent The Lord gives us to help us draw closer to him.

What do I wear?

Our dress code is pretty simple at JHOW. We're casual - business casual on most occasions. We believe you should be comfortable and the focus should be on The Lord not on what we're wearing.

What type of church?

JHOW is a Baptist church which does not put much emphasis on the types of things that might separate believers. Our emphasis is continually on those things that edify & unify fellow believers and most importantly, glorify God. At JHOW we like to keep the MAIN thing the MAIN thing.
