We believe that there is only one creator and ruler of the universe, the eternal God, existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26, 27, 3:22; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14,1 Peter 1:2;) We believe Jesus Christ, The only begotten Son of God, is God incarnate, co-equal with the Father, evidenced through his virgin birth, sinless life, miracles performed and substitutionary death on the cross that paid for our sin through His shed blood, leading to his glorious  resurrection, three days later, demonstrating His power over sin and death. Furthermore, we believe that he will return to earth again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords in power and glory. (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Matthew 1:18,22,23,25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3, 1 Timothy 6:14, 15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14-15, 9:15-22, 27-28) We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who lives within us, guides us and enables all fellow believers to better know the will of God and to live godly lives, pleasing the Lord. (John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13-14) We believe that The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.  At the point of salvation in fact,  believers receive an eternal seal that is set within them as an indication they are set apart for God and belong to Him. Furthermore, at least one spiritual gift is given to each child of God by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12-14). He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance in doing what is right on a daily basis,  comfort, counsel, revelation, protection, unity, and empowerment  to serve God and others in righteousness. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1)

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5).

We believe that the Bible is inclusive of all the books of the Old and New Testaments; 39 in the Old Testament & 27 in the New Testament for a total of 66 books in all. The original writings are inerrant as well as infallible, and are the divinely inspired Word of God written by authors who were inspired by God.  This true, God inspired, trustworthy,  Word of God is the final authority on all matters to which it addresses and therefore is also the source of all doctrine, instruction, and correction in righteousness. (Psalm 19:7-8, Psalm 119:105,160; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 1:13, 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity) in the virgin Mary's womb; therefore, He is the Son of God (Matthew 1:18, 25; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:27-35).

Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; I John 1:9).

We believe that salvation is a gift from God to man; that no man in and of ourselves could create or sustain enough self-improvement or good works to save himself from the penalty of his own sin. The sole source of salvation is in Jesus Christ alone that completely satisfies God’s righteous requirement. Once a man places his complete trust in Jesus Christ he becomes an heir of eternal salvation immediately. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1) We  furthermore believe that because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. (John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5)

We believe man was created in the spiritual image of God; to be like him in character & nature, but because of his disobedience, he ‘fell’ which gave sin and death entrance into this world by default.  Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by this attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates man from God. Man’s broken relationship with God continues until he is once again connected back to his original call and place with God through our great emancipator, Jesus Christ. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. This is why Christ came suffered and died; to restore that which was lost. Christ pardons all who believe in Him granting them salvation by grace through faith. (Genesis 1:26,27; Genesis 3:6-7; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Isaiah 59:1; 2John 3:16; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:6-10; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Timothy 2:5)  We furthermore believe that man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. We believe that  all those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, will be banished from God’s presence spending eternity in Hell.( Matthew 25:31-46; John 3:16; Romans 6:23; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18;1 John 2:25; 1 John 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15)

Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4).

We believe that just as the Bible teaches about heaven; hell too, is a real place. It is a place of suffering and a place of permanent separation from God for those who die without accepting Christ. God’s desire is that no one be separated from Him for eternity, which is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:12-15; John 3:16-18) After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8).

We believe in Baptism by immersion in water. It is an outward expression of an inward commitment of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. It is important to know that baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. The outside reveals & expresses the inside and is a biblical command that demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ. (Colossians 2:12; Acts 2:41; Ephesians 2: 8-9; Matthew 28:19-20)

We believe that communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine or juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation. Rather, it is a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross. Baptized believers take part in communion in remembrance of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. (Matthew 26:26-30; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 3:21-22; Luke 22:19,20; Acts 8:34-38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29)

We believe that God has given us everything we need to live victoriously on a daily basis as a Christian. Through obedience to his word, the Holy Spirit, repentance, forgiving ourselves and others, spiritual disciplines, fellowship, worship & other God led acts of service, we begin to walk with God through a growth process with Him and others. This walk is not about reaching earthly perfection, but about making daily progress on our lifetime journey and discovery of becoming more like Him. This is called sanctification & discipleship.  This transformation occurs throughout our entire life until the very moment  we leave this earth and live eternally in His presence.  (Romans 12:1-2; Philippians 4:8-9; Colossians 4:8-9; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Peter 1:3)

We believe that God is the owner of everything we have and he has graciously entrusted each of us with resources, that ultimately belong to him. We as his children hold an obligation to manage these gifts responsibly and in a way that not only takes care of ourselves and our own households but good care of the house of God & all the connected work of his house as well.

Each child of God is called to grow in the grace of giving as much as they are called to grow in every other area of the Christian life. Cheerful, generous, sacrificial, consistent giving is not an extra component of our faith but a sure sign of a maturing believer.

When we fail to recognize our stewardship properly we tend to experience common consequences such as materialism choking out our spiritual lives, getting enslaved to debt & disqualifying ourselves from  d God being able to trust us with “true riches”

We believe that God is Love and He loves all people. It is His desire to reach out in love to all people especially to those who don’t have strong voices for themselves such as the unborn, the poor, oppressed, widowed,  orphaned and the brokenhearted. (Psalm 68:5,6, Psalm 82:3, Proverbs 31:8, John 8:1-11, James 1:27,1 John 4:16)

 We believe God’s design for sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within the context of marriage. God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman. All other relationships involving sex are sinful acts that we are all called to repent of.(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20)

We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor and respect others  and always seek to serve them and be in peace with all men as much as possible, as was Christ’s example. We believe that every person should be given ample opportunity to be treated with love, dignity and respect from the womb to the tomb. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)

We believe that Jesus discipled His followers through times of prayer along with preaching and teaching in both small and large gatherings. His ministry included fellowship, ministry to the poor, oppressed and regular acts of serving others. We strive to continue Jesus’ model today as a lifestyle. While there are various approaches to discipleship (i.e. one-on-ones, small groups, classes, service, etc.) none would be effective without spiritual disciplines like studying the Word of God, Prayer, Fasting, Worship, Solitude, Service, and Giving. This discipleship lifestyle is a journey toward an authentic relationship with God and better relationships with others. (Matthew 16:24; Matthew 28:18-20; John 13:34-35; Acts 2:42-47; Galatians 5:13-14) Furthermore, we believe that sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God’s character to be developed in us. (Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25)

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and that its’ role is to continue the work of Jesus Christ on earth today. The Church also exists everywhere local believers do.  We are a combination of all the various church communities all over the world that have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord and therefore make up the Universal Church. (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Colossians 1:18) We further believe that God’s plan is to call, send and place every true believer in a house of worship as a member where they can be cared for, be discipled, accountable and also better sharpen & give their ministry  to others based upon the gifts God sovereignly places in each of his children. (Matthew 18:20, Ephesians 1:3-6, 2:8-10,  19-22, 4:1-16, Hebrews 10:19-25)

We believe Jesus will return and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with Him for eternity. This is called the second coming of Jesus Christ, and the final judgment. This second coming and return of Christ is certain, but no one knows the day and time of The Lord’s return.  This final judgment will determine the eternal status of both unbelievers and believers based upon each person’s individual faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Rewards will be given to believers and all unbelievers will receive their final judgment of damnation in Hell.  (Matthew 24:36, Matthew 24:42-44; Mark 13:32-37; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 1:7)
